U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Contract Status

William Data Systems LLC (WDS) has been awarded official GSA Contract Status (contract number GS-35F-0654R) under the following categories:

Through the GSA's co-operative purchasing initiative WDS is authorized to sell at both State and local government levels.

In addition, Federal businesses are able to use the GSA SmartPay® facility to help expedite the process of software acquisition from William Data Systems.

William Data Systems Federal Customers include:

• The Social Security Administration
• The Department of the Treasury
• The United States Army
• The Department of Homeland Security
• The Department of Agriculture

William Data Systems products help organizations with z/OS mainframes deliver the service levels and security demanded by their customers. WDS products enable users to:

• Maximize the availability of mainframe resources; providing a sophisticated, but easy to use, real-time IP network performance, availability and problem management tool.
• Minimize the impact of network outages: by accelerating the speed of problem determination and resolution, reducing the time skilled staff spend handling network problems and providing an effective training aid for network novices.
• Control access to, and auditing of, FTP; enabling the use of FTP as a cross-platform, open standard, method for file transfer on the mainframe.
• Enable the secure use of SNA over IP; adding security, authentication and manageability to mainframe-to-mainframe Enterprise Extender.

GSA's socio-economic classification defines WDS as a "Small Business". However, WDS competes with, and wins against, the largest vendors in its market based on the technical merit, ease of use, ease of installation and low resource consumption of its products.
