FERRET Features

FERRET provides a rich feature set from the first release. These are listed in the boxes on the right hand size of the web pages.

Single Sign-on

Having signed on via the SAF controlled sign-on screen, all the z/OS systems running FERRET are identified, allowing you to view the APPN network from the perspective of any of the systems, without the need for additional sign-ons.

The FERRET domain server exchanges APPN/HPR and EE information between different FERRET systems and provides the additional benefit of allowing resource name searching within the entire Domain, Network and/or Sysplex. Click on the image to see a larger version.

Having selected a system, the FERRET Summary display provides an instant view of all significant events, including Path-Switches, High Use RTPs and RTPs with slow response times. Click on any of images below to view more detail.
