PTF Level:  ZIM5103
Release Date:  5 July 2011

Requires ZEN 2.0 at PTF Level ZEN2155 or higher
DCA 1.3 PTF DCA1305

Version 5.1 provides all of the same facilities as the previous version 4.1 with a number of additions and enhancements as outlined below. The main thrust of this version, however, is to enable all of the IP displays to be viewed in William Data Systems' integrated ZEN browser interface. Since the product is now a true ZEN component, it is installed into either an existing or a new ZEN environment.

The previous browser GUI has been discontinued since the new browser interface provides full functionality (with the exception of the Administration functions which will be added in a later version) as well as all of the benefits of ZEN's own functionality and integration with all other WDS ZEN components.

This version has several additional enhancements among which are:

  • Improvements and enhancements to the Alerting function
  • Enhancements to TN3270 and NTT Monitoring and Displays
  • The introduction of a Command Input Area to many of the 3270 panels
  • Large Screen Support for 3270 Emulated Panels
  • Packet Trace Panel Improvements
  • Enhancements to Enterprise Extender Alerting
  • Group Delete and Add Service Group Ports by Server

For full details, see the ZEN IP MONITOR User Reference manual, chapter 'New Features'.
